A short walk from the land of the blind
This new trail, flattened with repetition
Packed and bustling and deliberately slow
Such beauties amid the smell of garbage
The ten different answers to every question
The young, to whom all this means something different
And the younger, to whom all this shall pass.
A dirty man, not exactly fat
Sells kittens from a cardboard box
Swarms of buses grumble past
And taxis fill the spaces left between
So many ways to get to so many places
I suppose.
Each crossing holds a hundred people
Each corner waits as many seconds
Sirens blare and squawl but wait like the rest
Heard for an instant then dissolve
Into the general aftertaste.
I fear the slower spinning of the world
As it waits, preparing to pounce
Slip from my grasp
Go where it must to resove itself
Find an orbit more to its liking.
A man stops and asks me for directions,
Cutting me free to continue.

Sounds like life in the big city. Ick.
Well called. Seoul.
Hey Justin, I still know nothing about what is going on with your wife, but I am keeping you both in my prayers and thoughts. Glad her father is on the way to help. I sincerely hope that everything works out for the both of you. Tough times only make us stronger- I hate when people tell me that- but it is the truth. I know the two of you will pull through whatever it is that is troubling you. Hugs galore...
OMG you have me sussed. How did you work it ou? Its true, its all lies, I am a 75 year old man, bald and living in the back of a broken down trailer with just my 'puter and imagination for company. But please, don't tell everyone
I hope your wife is doing better and that you have that situation under control.
love

Hey Justin,
Time is ticking for you. Be strong and get through it.
I enjoy reading your day to day journal .. and you write some dam cool songs ... but when you post this kind of stuff I'm kind of at a loss for words ... other than .. dude .. you're brilliant .. and maybe it's partly because of the journal and songs .. this stuff is good ..
I hope things are getting better for you ...tw
hey, thanks for the comment on my site. I've read that there will be seasons of testing and trouble, and I suppose this is one of those seasons for more than just me and my hubby. I will pray for you. for wise stewardship of your money, for suprising blessings, for protection from the enemy, that by the blood of the Lamb, God's will might be done.
