When time starts moving backwards
Banana peels picking people up
Glueing siamese twins back together
Bathtubs filling from the drain
Speakers absorbing all the sound
Squeezing toothpicks together to make trees
Mountains getting pointier
Ovens turning bread into dough
Teachers removing knowledge
Leaves rising from the ground and sticking to trees
Runners straining toward the starting line
Alarm clocks lulling us instantly to sleep.
Take care

Sounds like a nice change of pace to me.
that makes me feel really peaceful... and it's clever
when I read each line, I can actually feel my energy coming back to myself, it's funny, and it's good
Lovely stuff Justin.
Maybe one of the best poems I've ever read. I get all the stuff in it too, I think.
How about "people praying their way into depravity"?
I am re-writing alot of the poem right now, because I wanted to send it to you earlier today. I only have two out of five scenes (nearly) completed.

Thanks for stopping by my page and for leaving a comment. Otherwise, I wouldn't have come across your site ... I like the poem and the chronicle of your experiences in Korea.

Then blogs, too, will vanish back into brains.

now that is serenity ... *content sigh*
interesting
hell, yeah. i'm all about the alarm clock part.
... on a different note... because it has those optical connectors for my DAT? When I get my mothership going, I'm gonna beam up that signal like nobody's business (well, my business, actually).
In the meantime, I bought a spindle of 50 CDs 700 Mb, so that I don't have to worry about wasting CDs.
Good chance that they're crap though. Not sure. I am getting a version of Dog Soldiers burned soon. I reccommend Dog Soldiers to you before even seeing it. It just looks so cool to me. Go to hell.

Interesting concept, Justin.
