For the first time in over 8 years, I have short hair. My day today began with my 29 inch hair (as measured just before the Big Snip) being chopped right off. Traumatic. It's been such a long time since my last short-hair period... I think it's going to take a lot of getting used to...

Sheesh!...that took courage J! What made you decide to do it? One of my younger brother's has been growing his hair for about 12.5 yrs. His hair grows in natural ringlets and is quite thick so it's nowhere near as long as what you'd imagine it to be for 12.5 years hair growth but it looks nice on him, he ties it back all the time, it's much more easier to manage for him that way. do you like the new haircut?
it's been a long time? that's funny. my hair is into its second year of growth (from being shaved to the skull last september), and i find it fun to have long hair.
*rubs his freshly cut high and tight in rememberance of longer hair*
I have to say, having worn it this way for the better part of 7 years, I didn't realize how much I really missed it.
